Our Strong Fathers class helps fathers or expectant fathers prepare themselves to take on the responsibilities of fatherhood. This three-week class (9 a.m to 3 p.m., M–F) is designed to show men not only how to be outstanding role models for their children, but also how to provide for their families and learn critical job-readiness skills. Our Strong Fathers workshop is provided at no cost, and lunch is served at every class. Participants can earn a weekly stipend and receive help with transportation. Class topics include:

  • Fatherhood
  • Parenting
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Healthcare Enrollment
  • Legal issues
  • Financial management
  • Health and wellness
  • Job readiness and employability
  • Child support education
  • Career exploration

As you complete the class, we will help you achieve your goals by working with you on:

  • Your High School Equivalency so you can earn your diploma and march in a cap and gown at a special recognition ceremony.
  • Learning more about job preparation, placement, and trainings for great jobs and career growth.
  • Talking about issues that are impacting your life and/or your family with onsite counselors.

There’s more: We can help with court advocacy, referrals, barrier removal assistance, and even interview-ready clothes and work uniforms.
